Meet Colin Christianson, Founder & CEO of Tenacious Ventures, a trailblazing force in live video production and immersive media experiences. From producing interactive content for tech giants to literally broadcasting a live interactive show from the moon for NASA (yes, really), Colin has consistently pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in modern media.
In 2009, during the depths of the recession, Colin recognized the powerful intersection of social media and live streaming. He launched Tenacious Ventures to explore that frontier—quickly rising to the forefront of live interactive webcasting. His work has expanded the reach and impact of brands, non-profits, and enterprises through compelling, real-time engagement.
One of his earliest and most demanding challenges came in 2010, streaming a live fundraiser from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, following the devastating earthquake—coordinating global aid with a live event based in Texas. That same tenacity carried forward during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Colin’s established expertise led large-scale virtual productions that brought together global audiences, transforming isolation into connection.
From streaming Bill Gates to leading productions for NASA, Microsoft, Amazon, and the Artemis 1 Callisto mission, Colin has been behind the scenes of some of the most impactful live moments in recent history.
The launch of Tenacious Ventures’ dedicated Seattle studio marks another milestone—designed with inspiration from the mission control rooms of NASA and SpaceX. Outfitted with cutting-edge technology, the studio serves as a creative command center for delivering high-impact, multi-camera livestreams, augmented reality experiences, and hybrid events that transcend geography.
Outside the studio, Colin is a passionate advocate for Washington’s startup ecosystem, a strategic media advisor to non-profits, and a thought leader in the evolution of digital storytelling. With a background in Psychology, Anthropology, and Business Administration, he brings a uniquely human lens to media—crafting stories that don’t just inform but inspire and connect communities.
As he continues to redefine the media landscape, Colin remains focused on one mission: raising human consciousness and transforming the way we experience stories, share ideas, and shape culture—one production at a time.
